Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 4, 2026

1. The Service

SyncBot is a Slack application that lets teams create invoices with the /invoice command, share Razorpay payment links with their customers, and receive payment-status notifications in Slack. By installing or using SyncBot, you agree to these Terms.

2. Your Accounts

SyncBot requires a Slack workspace and a Razorpay merchant account. You are responsible for those accounts, for the accuracy of the invoices you create, and for complying with Slack's and Razorpay's own terms. You must have the authority to collect the payments you request through the service.

3. Payments

All payments are processed by Razorpay. SyncBot is not a bank, payment processor, or money transmitter: we never hold, receive, or transmit funds, and money moves directly between your customers and your Razorpay merchant account. Settlement timing, payment disputes, chargebacks, and refunds are governed by Razorpay and your agreement with them.

4. Fees

SyncBot is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, existing users will be notified before any charge applies. Razorpay's own transaction fees (if any) are separate and payable to Razorpay.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SyncBot to request payments for illegal goods or services, to send fraudulent or misleading invoices, to harass recipients, or to violate any applicable law, including RBI and payment-system regulations. We may suspend or terminate workspaces that violate this section.

6. Data & Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Availability & Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product evolves.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncBot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (currently zero for free plans).

9. Termination

You can stop using SyncBot at any time by uninstalling it from your workspace. We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these Terms. Sections 3, 6, 7, and 8 survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
