1. Our Commitment

We respect your privacy. SyncBot is designed to help you generate and track invoices directly within Slack. We only collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide this service.

2. What Information We Collect

Slack Data: When you install SyncBot, we store your workspace ID, a bot access token, and the bot user ID so the app can post messages. When you run /invoice, we receive the command text along with the Slack user ID, channel ID, and workspace ID of where it was run. We do not read, access, or store any other messages in your workspace.

Invoice Data: The details you type into an /invoice command — customer name, amount, and description — are stored as a transaction record so we can create the payment link and show you its status.

Payment Data: We interact with Razorpay to process payments. We store only the Razorpay payment-link ID, its URL, and payment status. We never receive or store your customers' card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking credentials.

Logs: We collect standard server logs (e.g., timestamps, HTTP status codes) to ensure system reliability and troubleshoot errors.

3. AI Processing of Commands

To understand free-form requests like /invoice Send bill to Ravi for 5000 for website work, the text of your /invoice command is sent to Google's Gemini API, which extracts the customer name, amount, and description. Only the command text is sent — never your Slack messages, channel history, or workspace data. This processing is subject to Google's API terms. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your Slack workspace.
• To parse your invoice commands and generate secure payment links via our payment gateway.
• To notify you of payment status in the Slack channel you chose.

5. Data Sharing & Sub-processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary to provide SyncBot:

• Razorpay (payment gateway) — receives the customer name, amount, and description to create and process payment links.
• Google Gemini API (AI parsing) — receives the text of your /invoice commands, as described in Section 3.
• Render (infrastructure) — hosts our application and database, where workspace tokens and transaction records are stored.
• Slack — receives the invoice confirmations and payment notifications the app posts to your workspace.

6. Data Retention & Your Rights

Transaction records are retained so you can track payment history. You can remove SyncBot from your Slack workspace at any time; once uninstalled, we cease all communication with your workspace. You can request deletion of your workspace tokens and transaction data at any time by contacting support@syncbot.money, and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
